Lake Bistineau State Park - Lake Bistineau Drawdown

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) scheduled a drawdown of Lake Bistineau beginning August 12, 2026 for the purpose of reducing further expansion of giant salvinia. Lake Bistineau State Park boat launch and boat rentals will close for the drawdown period starting on August 12, 2026. Read the full notice HERE.
