TICKFAW STATE PARK'S FIRST DAY HIKES EVENT

Join us at Tickfaw State Park for our ranger-led First Day Hikes event!

First Day Hikes began in Massachusetts in 1992 and came on nationwide in 2012 under America's State Parks. Whether it's a hike, snowshoe, or even a swim, First Day Hikes are an opportunity for park visitors to start the new year on the right foot in the outdoors!

Time of Event: Friday, January 2, 2026 @ 12:00 PM
Meeting Location: Nature Center
Trail Description: Minimal incline (for only a portion of the trail), combination boardwalk/gravel path.
Minimum Age for Children: All ages welcome!
Any Restrictions: No pets or wagons, please. Strollers are not recommended because part of the trail is gravel, which can make it difficult to push them.
ADA Accessible/Track Chairs Available: No
Length of Hike: 1/2-mile loop
