The Dead of the Locust Grove Cemetery Historic Site

Locust Grove State Historic Site will be open to give visitors a peek into the past on Friday, July 15 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. This small plantation cemetery includes the graves of Major General Eleazar Ripley, a hero of the War of 1812, and of Sarah Knox Taylor, first wife of Jefferson Davis.
