Night Hike

Visitors are invited to join Ranger Garrett for Night Hike on the Nature Trail to see the park after dark when many of our inhabitants tend to be up and about.

-The park will be providing several handheld black lights for use on the hike, but all participants should have their own flashlight or headlamp.
-Closed-toed shoes are required for safety reasons. 
-Meet at the Visitors Center.
-Total distance will be about 1.25 miles, mostly on gravel.
-Campers and Day-Use Guests are welcome to join at no extra cost. 
-Park day use entry fees apply:
$3 per person
Children 3 & Under: FREE
Seniors 62+: FREE

- ADA: Visitors with disabilities who would like to enjoy the trails may request use of the Action Trackchair at no extra cost which provides full mobility throughout the park. Go to our reservation website (lastateparks.com), click Make a Reservation, and look at "Other Rentals".
