MATTHEW BRADY & CIVIL WAR PHOTOGRAPHY

Matthew Brady's photography highlighted the evolution of war coverage for civilians away from the frontlines. The Civil War was the point in American History where coverage of war changed from relying solely on illustration to also include the work of war photographers that showed the full spectrum of the war front. This program will be on the day of our opening of the new exhibit highlighting the work of Matthew Brady in capturing the war as well as the technology used to do so.
