Hootnanny Washout

This family-friendly event scheduled for Saturday, September 5 is an all-out water battle where parade participants on decorated golf carts and UTVs cruise the campgrounds while trading splashes with parade watchers. Campers and park visitors are encouraged to bring their best water toys and five-gallon buckets for fast refills.  Water balloons are forbidden to prevent littering. 
Event Details
•    What: A rolling water gun parade and massive splash battle.
•    Who: Campers of all ages, riders, and watchers. Visitors and guest who wish to enter a vehicle in the parade can register in advance by calling the park office directly at  318-927-2976.
•    Where: Throughout both campground loops.
•    What to Bring: Water guns, blasters, and a five-gallon bucket for quick refills.
•    When:  Saturday, Sept 5 @ 2:15 pm  (Line up will be at park day use at 1:30 pm)
