Chemin-A-Haut Trail Run & Walk

The Chemin-A-Haut 4 Mile Run and 1 Mile Walk is for all that enjoy the beauty of nature. The event is designed with three purposes. First, to provide a fun race for everyone that enjoys trail running or walking along natural trails under towering forests, and along scenic lakeshore and bayou. This race is an excellent means of training for the King's Camp 5K or the King's Camp 10 Miler. Second, to enjoy the unspoiled beauty that one of the oldest parks in Louisiana has to offer. Participants will run the same route used by Native Americans centuries ago. Finally, all proceeds from the trail run and walk are re-invested in projects to benefit Morehouse Parish such as Chemin-A-State Park, Bussey Brake, the Morehouse Memorial Airport, the Rose Theatre, and the Morehouse Animal Shelter.
