BLACK SOLDIERS IN THE CIVIL WAR

Come hear the soldiers' stories from United States Colored Troops historian, Jerilyn Lee. She will share over 100 pictures of USCT soldiers, NCOs, officers, cavalrymen and U.S. sailors who served during the Civil War. Presentations will be held on July 27th and July 28th. Saturday's topic will be "The Black Soldier in America's Civil War: A Timeline from Slavery to Soldier" and Sunday's topic will be "The Louisiana Regiments: A Storied History".
