A Parish wide burn ban is in effect for Webster Parish restricting outdoor burning at the following Louisiana State Parks: Lake Bistineau State Park. 

In most cases, the burn-ban order prohibits outdoor burning, including campfires. While outdoor cooking is permitted only within contained equipment designed for that purpose, such as gas grills or approved charcoal grills with a cover. All cooking must be conducted with a water source or fire extinguisher immediately available.
