By order of the Webster Parish Police Jury, a parish-wide burn ban remains in effect. The burn ban prohibits all outdoor burning, including campfires. Outdoor cooking is permitted only within contained equipment designed for that purpose, such as gas grills or approved charcoal grills with a cover. All cooking must be conducted with a water source or fire extinguisher immediately available.
