Grand Isle State Park Closed as of 12 P.M. Today Ahead of Tropical Storm Cristobal

BATON ROUGE, La. – Effective at 12 p.m. today – Friday, June 5 – Grand Isle State Park closed to visitors. This closure follows the recommendations of the Mayor and Town Council of the town of Grand Isle, as they have issued a mandatory evacuation due to Tropical Storm Cristobal. This closure remains in effect until Monday, June 8.

Current overnight visitors will have the option to change the dates of their stay, transfer their stay to another Louisiana State Park of their choosing, at no extra charge, or be refunded in full. Reservation agents will be in touch with those visitors to make those arrangements.
