The Civil War at Oakley

Journey back into history to the years of the American Civil War, when visitors will see recreations of the sights and sounds of those troubled times. The event is set for Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.  During the day walk through the soldier camps and see living history demonstrations of soldier life by reenactors in blue and grey. You will hear black powder weapon demonstrations of both rifle and cannons, uniform talks, medical demonstrations, open hearth cooking and more.
