THE BATTLE OF D'ARBONNE LANDING V (5)

Step back in time, as Union troops assault Confederate defenses at Lake D'Arbonne Landing to march on Shreveport. Join us for several days of exciting living history, as re-enactors portray a fictional civil war battle at Lake D'Arbonne State Park. This is a family friendly event, with storytelling, music, weaponry display, and much more leading up to battle! Fully immerse yourself in a battle atmosphere, where Black powder rifle smoke fills the air and cannon fire shakes the grounds beneath you as the North and South battle! School day will be on March 13th, 2026, from 9am- 1pm, where students can learn all about camp life and civil war. The battles will be on March 14, 2026 at 2pm, and March 15th, 2026 at 1pm.
