TEA & TEXTILES: SEWING AND MENDING

This month's Tea & Textiles program will be a working demonstration of hand mending techniques.  Join us at Fort Jesup as we discuss how to mend and maintain clothing items, which historically was a very important skill as we begin to head into the fall and winter months.  Visitors will be given the opportunity to try their hand at sewing rips, repairing seams, and putting on a new button.  For more information contact us at 318-256-4117.
