TEA & TEXTILES: POCKETS AND HOW TO WEAR THEM

Guests are invited out to Fort Jesup's monthly Tea & Textiles program.  This month's demonstration is ladies' pockets (the decorated bag commonly worn over an apron).  The demonstration will include how pockets were made, commonly worn, and eventually how pockets transformed into the purses we commonly carry today.
