TEA & TEXTILES: FABRICS USED IN FOOD PRESERVATION

Guests are invited to join living historians at Fort Jesup over a pot of tea, and learn how to make the fabric food storage items used historically.  From beeswax cloth paper to fabric food storage bags, a demonstration will be had for each technique.  Guests are welcome to ask questions or even try their hands at creating an item of their own.  For more information contact us at 318-256-4117.
