SPRING GARDEN GALA: CULTIVATE TO THE CLASSICS

Keep the gardens at Longfellow-Evangline beautiful while enjoying live French classical music on the viola! Help with weeding and planting while accomplished violist Kristy Venstrom adds melody to nature's ambiance. Come learn and share about gardening, native plants and classical music in the company of fellow gardeners (beginners to advanced) and music lovers. Dress comfortably for outdoor work. Refreshments provided. Bring your preferred hand tools, gloves, kneelers and protection from sun and insects. Don't have any? No worries, we do have some to lend. There will be native seeds and seedlings for volunteers to take home. You may also bring native seeds or plants to swap and share. We will meet at the Interpretive Center at 9:30 am.
