SPINNING & NATURAL DYES

Guests are invited out to Fort Jesup SHS to learn about spinning and natural dyes.  Living historians will demonstrate different spinning methods including the drop spindle and walking wheel.  Guest will also be able to observe and learn about natural dying techniques and common dyes found in the 1800s.  For more information contact us at 318-256-4117.
