SMALL AND NECESSARY: WOOD COMB

In 1770 traders brought 6 dozen boxwood combs to the Fort.  While combs are simple objects, they were among the necessities of 18th century life.  Join Parks staff from 10am to 12pm on August 8th, 2026 as they show and discuss various styles of combs and demonstrate how a wooden comb would be made.
