Site Staff or Park Volunteers will guide visitors on a tour of the Historic Oakley House Circa 1815, one time home of the Artist Naturalist John James Audubon. The tour will include Audubon?s time at the house in 1821, his ? Birds of America? and how they were created here, and lastly discussions of his interactions with both those enslaved on the plantation and with the owners of Oakley House.
