Revolutionary War Living History Encampment

October 29, 2022 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Join us in discovering how the Revolutionary War came to our doorstep in Louisiana's only Revolutionary War Living History program. The day will resound with the peal musket fire, the stirring beat of drums and the thrilling call of orders, as the Militia musters at the plantation. Special activities throughout the day will invite the public to experience the sights and sounds of our colonial ancestors, as cannons fire and musketry rattles at the Battle at Baton Rouge in 1779, one of the largest battles in the West during the Revolutionary War. The program will run from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 and from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30. For more information please contact the park at 225-635-3739.
