Remembering Audubon

10 a.m.-4 p.m....Come to Audubon State Historic Site and explore the world and legacy of John James Audubon?s time at Oakley Plantation in 1821.  Activities throughout the day include talks on his artwork made at Oakley and the contributions of those Enslaved on the plantation that found many of his specimens. Other talks will bring to life John Audubon and his early years in Louisiana and Oakley as well as his impact on what would become the conservation movement.
