Take a walk and enjoy a little Cajun folklore along the way! Palmetto Island State Park’s October StoryWalk® features Miss Amandine and the Poulet Garou, a story rooted in the rich culture, folklore, and legends of Acadiana.
Follow the StoryWalk® along the trail, read the story page by page, and discover the tale of the mysterious Poulet Garou. It’s a fun way for families to enjoy reading, nature, and Cajun culture together this October!
