National Trails Day

Join us on National Trails Day as we continue our efforts to make everyone feel welcome and has access to enjoy the great outdoors here at Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site. From 9:30am-12:00pm we will be focusing on the Attakapas Trail (from the Olivier Plantation Home to our reproduction Acadian Cabin) where we will be removing fallen tree branches and raking leaves. Participants should wear long pants and apply sunscreen and insect spray. Water will be provided.
