MEET THE AUTHOR OF MARIGOLD THE HONEYBEE

Join us for a special Meet the Author event on April 11th during the Stir the Pot Seafood and Wild Game Cookoff at Palmetto Island State Park! We're excited to welcome local author Timala Melancon, writer of Marigold the Honeybee, our April StoryWalk feature. Mrs. Melancon is a longtime educator in Vermilion Parish, and many in our community already know her from her years of teaching and inspiring students. Her love for children, literacy, and nature shines through in her storytelling. Come say hello or take the opportunity to meet her in person, hear about her inspiration for Marigold's adventure, and celebrate a local author who has made a lasting impact on so many families.
