Louisiana's Oldest Campaigns in the Civil War

Looking at the whole picture of the energizing tale of Louisiana during the American Civil War, Mansfield State Historic Site will put on a presentation covering three of the major campaigns (New Orleans, Port Hudson, and Red River) fought on Louisiana soil and its waterways. This presentation will discuss the roles these campaigns played in Louisiana's Civil War history and how they affected the areas in which they were fought.
