LOUISIANA OAKLEY 1815 SCHOOL DAY

This program is in conjuncture with the Louisiana 1815 program offered Saturday. Open to only 60 children and pre registration is required for the program. Students can try their hands at period lawn games like graces and hoops, hear a talk on 1815 plantation medicine. Pick up a wooden musket and learn how Louisiana militia of 1815 drilled, lastly try a sample of an original recipe from the plantations cookbook.
