INTERNATIONAL COFFEE DAY

Come join us on Wednesday, October 01, 2025, from 9am to 11am to celebrate International Coffee Day! 
Coffee became part of daily life in Louisiana by the 18th century, with both Acadian and Creole families gathering over a morning tasse de café. French Creoles helped make New Orleans famous for its chicory blend, while Acadians continued French traditions of hospitality around the coffee pot. More than just a drink, coffee was a way to build community, share stories, and carry on cultural traditions. 
On International Coffee Day, we honor this tradition and support coffee growers and the people who enjoy it. Keep the conversation going, our weekly French Table is happening too!
