With summer time comes outdoor cooking! We usually think of outdoor grilling or even smores on an open fire. But how often do we think of an oven existing outside?? When Fort St Jean Baptiste was an active fort, they used an oven built using bousillage. Bousillage is the building material used throughout the Fort and other older structures around Natchitoches.
