History Selfie Hunt

For both children and adults alike, this program will put on a semi-guided scavenger hunt, where participants will learn about the history of the Battle of Mansfield and the Red River Campaign with site staff, and then will be given a list of items to search for in both the museum and on the battlefield. Participants will need to provide proof of their participation by reporting back to the ranger with both a fact that they learned about each item, and then a picture with the item in question! All that a visitor needs is a smartphone or camera and a sharp eye! This event is open to people of all ages to come and learn a fact or two about the Battle of Mansfield, as well as getting a few cool pictures in the process!

Mansfield State Historic Site is located on La. Hwy. 175, three miles south of Mansfield.
