History Detectives!

For this program, children in grade levels 3-6 are encouraged to be history detectives as they learn how to use primary and secondary sources to unlock clues to the past. They will learn to differentiate the different sources by examining and sketching artifacts that are on display in our museum and throughout out historic home. Finally, an archaeologist will discuss how artifacts are used to interpret history and the students will get an opportunity to handle 200-year-old artifacts themselves.
