GIRL SCOUTS LOVE STATE PARKS DAY: ROOTS IN SERVICE

Longfellow Evangeline SHS invites all Girl Scouts to participate in Girl Scouts Love State Parks Day 2025! On the weekend of Saturday, September 13th through Sunday September 14th, any Girl Scout in uniform along with individuals visiting with them will get free admission to the park and museum. Hours of the operation are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Girl Scouts can take part in Roots in Service. Along with friends or family, Girl Scouts can Learn how to help with a mini-conservation effort, such as clearing trails, planting native flowers, or creating pollinator-friendly spaces. 
Given the high temperatures, before you head out, bring sunscreen, and a hat, and using the buddy system during your outdoor activities.
