Girl Scouts Love State Parks Day

Girl Scouts participating in Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site's  Girl Scouts Love State Parks Day will experience the lifestyles of  both a wealthy Creole Plantation owner and an Acadian yeoman farmer while touring Maison Oliver and the Acadian Farmstead.  Led by guides in period costumes, demonstrations include  spinning, weaving, furs/hides, blacksmithing and the firing of black powder weapons will be available upon availability of volunteers.
