Girl Scouts' Day at the Fort

Fort St. Jean Baptiste invites Girl Scouts and their troops out for a day of living and learning certain aspects of 18th century life on Sunday, Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Girl Scouts who come out will learn a variety of skills including candle making and how to start a fire with flint and steel. This program is also free to Girl Scouts who wear their uniform sash or vest. Scouts will be able to take handmade candles home, while supplies last. For more information call us at 318-357-3101.
