First Day Hike at Fort Jesup

Name of Trail: Fort Jesup Historic Trail

Meeting Location: Fort Jesup Museum

Trail Description:  The trail is about half a mile long, and the hike will take visitors off the paved walkways to reach the hospital site so there may be some slight inclines and natural barriers. 

Minimum Age for Children:  The hike is appropriate for ages four and up. 

Any Restrictions: 

ADA Accessible / Track Chairs Available? Once we step off the walkways due to inclines and natural barriers this route is not accessible for mobility devices.  There are no track chairs available.
