Encampment at Oakley Plantation

Civil War Encampment will be held Jan. 7 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. This program will focus on the end of the Civil War at Oakley plantation in and around 1865. Park staff will set up a small camp in front of the plantation home and will be demonstrating Civil War drills, black powder weapon demonstrations and uniform talks.  For more information, call 888.677.2838 toll free or 225.635.3739 locally.
