Creole Christmas

Visitors are invited to Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site to tour the Olivier Plantation Home circa 1815 and see our lovely natural, period-appropriate Christmas decorations each day from Dec. 5-23 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Visitors will learn how the holiday was celebrated by Creole plantation owners in the mid 1800's. Special demonstrations for pre-registered groups are available. School groups are to register in advance by calling 337-394-3754.
