COURTING FAVORS OF THE 1800S

Guests are invited to join a staff member at Fort Jesup as we talk about romance, suitors, and courting favors in the 1800s.  There will be a discussion on the etiquette of courting, what qualified or disqualified a suitor as well as a demonstration of fan language.  There will also be examples of courting favors for guests to view.  Join us for a peek into the history of romance.  For more information contact us at 318-256-4117.
