Christmas on the Homefront

Visitors are invited to observe the Christmas traditions of the era and how families of soldiers in the field celebrated the holidays during the Civil War at Mansfield State Historic Site. The event is set for Saturday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m.  Traditions of the time will be discussed during this informative presentation by site staff.
