A TRADITIONAL ACADIAN AND CREOLE SINGING PARTY

In the weeks before Christmas, 19th-century Acadians and Creoles set aside their instruments and gathered for a cappella singing parties. Join us for a traditional French and Creole Advent Singalong featuring hymns and ballads as well as fun and festive ditties. We'll sing Christmas carols in French or Creole too! Lyrics and translations will be provided so that even beginner singers and language learners can follow along or join in!  We'll have traditional refreshments and play-party games for all ages, along with activities and old-fashioned toys for the kids!
