A Sound of Thunder

February 3rd A Sound of Thunder Noon-3 PM Guests to the park have an opportunity to experience first hand the sights and sound of a Revolutionary War cannon similar to those used in the 1779 Battle of Baton Rouge. It was this battle that Oakley Plantations founder Ruffin Grey fought for the Spanish. Guests will learn the drill to load and fire such a cannon and see it fired.
