October 25th A Revolutionary War School Day 9 AM-11:30AM Audubon State Historic Site remembers the contributions of its own founder who fought in the Revolutionary War in Louisiana with a morning of activities centered around the sights and sounds of the 1779 campaign for Baton Rouge. Throughout the morning black powder demonstrations of both cannon and flintlock will be presented along with talks on uniforms and camp life. See open hearth cooking demonstrations as well as various period craft demonstrations around the park grounds, and participate in a period dance class. Preregistration required.
