Fontainebleau State Park Independence Day Tips

Fontainebleau State Park is excited about the upcoming Independence Day holiday weekend and wants to share with its guests some information to help reduce traffic so they can enjoy more time at the park and less time getting to the park.

  • Come early, the park opens at 8 AM
  • The cost per visitor is $3 person; 3 and under and 62 and older get in free
  • Cash payments take less time than credit card payments
  • Be prepared with the number of visitors, their age group, the exact change, and your payment
  • Make a checklist and bring what you need with you to avoid having to leave and return
  • If you are staying overnight on site avoid driving, if possible, and get everything you need the day before
  • If you are coming with family and or friends ride together to reduce the number of vehicles on the road
  • Use turning signals when you are close to the park to help other drivers and officers directing traffic
  • Avoid passing vehicles ahead of you
