Locust Grove State Historic Site in St. Francisville, La. will be open Sunday January 17th to give visitors a peek into the past. This small plantation cemetary includes the graves of Major General Eleazar Ripley, a hero of the War of 1812, and of Sarah Knox Taylor, first wife of Jefferson Davis.
