Living History Wednesday: En Francais

Pre-registered school groups are invited to take a French immersed guided tour on any Wednesday throughout the school year. Students will view an en Francais introductory video to the site. Led by a French-speaking guide in period appropriate costume, students will tour the Maison Olivier. Students will then continue to the Acadian Cabin in order to better compare plantation life to the life of an Acadian Yeoman farmer. If time allows, groups are welcome to explore our Acadian Farmstead area. Demonstrations on spinning, weaving, furs/hides, blacksmithing and the firing of black powder weapons are typically available upon request.
