Crafts of the Past - Basket Making

Guests are invited to participate in Fort Jesup's the April Crafts of the Past program - basket making. The program is set for 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday, April 23.  Guests are welcomed to the site to get hands on experience in this unique creative art.  Basket making was a necessary skill out on the frontier when containers were in short supply and stores were quite a distance away.
